			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Services celebrating the life of Nelda Moser, age 99 of Cold Spring, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28 at the First Presbyterian Church, 373 4<sup>th</sup> Ave S. St Cloud.  Burial will be in North Star Cemetery. Nelda died Sunday at the St. Benedicts Senior Center in St. Cloud.   There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Friday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud  and again after 10:00 AM Saturday at the church in St. Cloud.</p>
<p>Nelda was born December 7, 1912 in St. Cloud to Wilhelm and Helma (Abbe) Miller.  She graduated from high school and married Willibald (Bill) Moser on October 14, 1932.  The couple lived in St. Cloud until moving to Cold Spring in 1962.  Nelda was a homemaker raising her daughter.  Nelda loved to garden  and fish and she was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in St. Cloud.</p>
<p>Nelda is survived by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband on June 8, 1994;  her daughter, Doris Mae Mendel on May 17, 2007; her great-grandson, Rhett Reiter, and her brothers and sisters, Leona Miller, Albert Miller and John Miller.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Joseph “Joe” Jovanovich, age 91 of Sauk Rapids, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 1 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 7286 Duelm Road NE Sauk Rapids.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Joe died Sunday at the St. Cloud Veterans Affairs Medical Center.  There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Tuesday and again after 9:00 AM Wednesday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral  Home in St. Cloud.   Knights of Columbus Council 961 will pray  at 6:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.</p>
<p>Joe was born January 18, 1921 in Aurora MN to Steven and Eda (Starcevich) Jovanovich.  He grew up in Keewatin and entered the U.S. Army, serving during WWII.  After his discharge, he studied at, and graduated from the University of Minnesota and he began is career teaching agricultural to veterans in the Little Falls area.  Joe married Carol Adams on November 3, 1962 in Rockville.  Joe started working for the Production Credit Association where he became Vice-President in charge of providing loans to farmers.  Joe and Carol moved their family to Sauk Rapids in 1967, where they have lived since.  Joe was a member of St Augustine’s Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 961.</p>
<p>Joe is survived by his wife, Carol, Sauk Rapids; his sons, John (Jodi) Jovanovich, Greenfield; Jim (Kimberly) Jovanovich, Las Vegas; Jeff (Kelly) Jovanovich, Gilman; Jerry (Debra) Jovanovich, Golden Valley; and five grandchildren.</p>
<p>He is preceded in death by his parents, his son, Joseph Jovanovich, Jr. “Chip”;  his brothers, Steven Jovanovich Jr. and John Jovanovich.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Funeral Services celebrating the life of William “Bill” P. Weber, age 67, of Freeport will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 28<sup>th</sup>, 2012 at Glendorado Lutheran Church in Princeton, MN.  Reverend Barb Peterson will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery at a later date.  Bill died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family Tuesday afternoon.  There will be a visitation from 10 AM until the time of the service at the church Saturday morning.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Albany.</p>
<p>Bill was born October 1, 1944 to Ricks and Mary (Brennan) Weber in LeMars, IA.  He grew up in LeMars where he lived until joining the Marines.  After his safe return from duty in Vietnam he married Doris Carter on May 6, 1967 in Las Vegas.  After marriage the couple lived in Inglewood, CA.  In 1968 they moved to Merrill, IA where they lived until 1975 when they moved to Motley.  In 1987, they moved to the central Minnesota area living in Foley and Glendorado.  In 2008, they moved to Tyler, MN where they lived until Bill fell ill and then moved to Freeport.  Bill worked his life as a carpenter most recently working for Xcel Energy until his retirement in 2006.  He was a member of First Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre, the Merrill, IA American Legion, the Princeton VFW, and the Carpenters and Joiners Local Mpls 322.</p>
<p>Bill is survived by his wife Doris Weber, Freeport; his daughters Lisa (Gordon) Hocking, St. Cloud; Lana Weber, Freeport; Lynette (Don) Franklin, St. Cloud; Rose (Nate) Rosebear, Ponemah, MN; Nancy Weber, Foley; his 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>He is preceded in death by his parents Ricks and Mary Weber, and his siblings Mary Laddasaw, Katherine Bolton, Dora Weber, Viola Rieken, Bernice McKay, Hank Weber, and Alvin Weber.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Carol Jean Mettenburg-Pankratz, age 46 of St. Cloud will be 11 AM, Thursday, January 26, 2012 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  Father Matthew Crane will officiate, and burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery after the service.  Carol died peacefully at St. Benedicts surrounded by her family after a long and tough fight with cancer.  There will be a visitation from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, January 25<sup>th</sup> at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud, and again from 10 AM until the time of the service on Thursday at the church.  Parish prayers will be at 4:30pm on Wednesday at the Funeral Home.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.</p>
<p>Carol was born March, 19, 1965 to Roger and Dolores (Inderienden) Mettenburg in St. Cloud.  After graduating from Cathedral High School, Carol worked in the billing department for Health Partners.  She lived her entire life in the St. Cloud area.  Carol was an avid Minnesota sports fan.  To relax, she greatly enjoyed her time cross stitching and reading.  She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.</p>
<p>Carol is survived by her daughters Brittney Pankratz, Minneapolis; Katie Pankratz, St. Cloud; her father Roger Mettenburg, St. Cloud; and her siblings Bill (Marci) Mettenburg, St. Joseph; Jane Mettenburg, St. Cloud; Ann (Harland) Donnay, Kimball; Rob (Corinne) Mettenburg, Sauk Centre; and many nieces and nephews.</p>
<p>She is preceded in death by her mother Dolores Mettenburg, and her sister Gayle Mettenburg.</p>
<p>Remember me with smiles and laughter because that’s the way I will remember you.  If you can only remember me with tears and sorrow, I wish you would not remember me at all.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of June Helen Ney, age 81 of St. Anthony will be 11 AM, January 26, 2012 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony.  Father Blane Wasnee O.S.B. will officiate and burial will take place following the service in the parish cemetery.  June died at the Albany hospital Sunday morning in the presence of her family.  There will be a visitation from 4-8 PM, Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Albany, and again at the church Thursday morning from 10 AM until the time of the service.  Parish prayers will take place at 4:30 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Albany.</p>
<p>June was born June 2, 1930 to Victor and Inez (Barry) Pogatchnik in St. Anthony.  She married Philip Ney on July 5<sup>th</sup>, 1968.  She grew up in St. Anthony, but lived in St. Cloud while attending school, taught in Tower MN, then moved to Chicago where she worked for the Bureau of Labor Statistics as an economist, later moving to Milwaukee.  She was a member of the St. Anthony Catholic Church.</p>
<p>June is survived by her children Jason (Rachel) Ney, South Beloit, IL; Cassandra (Chris Erbes) Ney, Milwaukee; her siblings LaVerne Marolt, Gilbert; Ardell (Alex) Nadesan, Bemidji; Pati (Jerry)Welters, Minneapolis; Victor Pogatchnik, St. Anthony; Joe (Eileen) Pogatchnik, Avon; Jean (Jimmy) Ramacher, St. Anthony; John Pogatchnik, St. Cloud; and her one granddaughter Lea Ney</p>
<p>She is preceded in death by her parents Inez and Victor Pogatchnik, her husband Philip Ney, and her sisters Marie Winter, and Corrine Zimmermann.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Mary Ann Ebnet, age 81 of Holdingford will be 11 AM, Monday, January 23, 2012 at All Saints Catholic Church, River Street in Holdingford.  Father Mark Stang will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Mary died peacefully Wednesday afternoon surrounded by her family at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.  Friends may call from 3-7 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2012 and again from 10 AM until the time of the service at All Saints church.  Parish prayers will take place at 5 PM, followed by the Christian Mothers praying the rosary at 6 Sunday evening at the church.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford.</p>
<p>Mary was born May 30, 1930 to Joseph and Anna (Thene) Guck on a farm near St. Stephen.  She married Elmer Ebnet on November 23, 1950 in St. Stephen.  After marriage, the couple moved to Minneapolis and then to Holdingford where she lived the rest of her life.  Mary worked as a home-maker raising her 7 children, at Munsingwear in Albany, the Holdingford Bank, and also managed the Holdingford Municipal Liquor Store before retiring in 1992.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford where she was a member of the Christian Mothers.</p>
<p>Mary is survived by her husband Elmer Ebnet, Holdingford; her children Beverly (Russ) Eichten, Holdingford; Jeffrey (Debbie) Ebnet, Rice; Gregory (Teresa) Ebnet, Holdingford; Pamela (John) Voss, Holdingford; Nicholas (Peg) Ebnet, Lake Lillian; Luke (Terri) Ebnet, Brooklyn Park; Nancy (Dan) Fiedler, Holdingford; her sisters Alvina “Pat” Connelly, Minneapolis; Dorothy Solinger, Holdingford; her 18 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>She is preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Guck, and her siblings Lorraine Carroll, Eleanor Morrissey, Raymond Guck, Alvin Guck, Robert Guck, and Frank Guck.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Bernadette Martha Dullinger, age 85 of Opole will be 11 AM, Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Father Mark Stang will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Bernadette died peacefully Tuesday evening surrounded by her loving family at Quiet Oaks Hospice House.  There will be a visitation from 4-8 PM, Friday, January 20, 2012 and again from 10 until the time of the service on Saturday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Parish prayers will take place at 5 PM, and the Christian Mothers will pray the rosary at 6 PM at the church Friday evening.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford.</p>
<p>Bernadette was born December 3, 1926 to Peter and Susanna (Rausch) Leither in Jacobs Prairie.  She married Emil Dullinger on October 24, 1951 in Cold Spring.  She was a lifetime resident of the Stearns County area.  Bernadette not only worked on the farm with her husband Emil, she was also a loving mother and home-maker raising twelve children.  She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church where she was a member of the St. Victoria Mission Group, and Christian Mothers.</p>
<p>Bernadette is survived by her husband Emil Dullinger, Opole; Sandra (Don) Kirchner, Sauk Rapids; Earl (Vikki) Dullinger, Sartell; Joyce Mrosla (Jim Janochoski), St. Joseph; Donna (Geno) Brown, Rice; Vernon (Connie) Dullinger, St. Joseph; Jerome (Lori) Dullinger, St. Cloud; Tom (Sue) Dullinger, St. Joseph; Dale (Sue) Dullinger, Sartell; Mary Kay (John) Stein, Kimball; Theresa (Paul) Revermann, St. Cloud; Roger (Rita) Dullinger, Sartell; Jeanette (Duane) Christman, St. Michael; her 33 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Memorial Services celebrating the life of Charles J. Hiivala, age 78, of Sauk Rapids will be from 1-3PM with a time for sharing starting at 3PM  on Saturday, January, 14, 2012 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.  Charles died peacefully Tuesday evening surrounded by his family at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home 3013 Roosevelt Road, St. Cloud MN.</p>
<p>Charles was born February 4, 1933 in Minneapolis to Charles and Esther (Peterson) Hiivala.  He grew up in Minneapolis and lived throughout Minnesota in such cities as Fairmont and Alexandria before settling in St. Cloud.  He married the love of his life Florence Meade on May 31, 1952 in Minneapolis.  He worked as a salesman for Norhtland Electric Supply Company in Minneapolis.</p>
<p>Charles is survived by his 7 sons and one daughter, Charles (Linda) Hiivala, Apple Valley; Steven (Julie) Hiivala, Sartell; Lori (Robert) McConnell, St. Cloud; Jeff (Tammy) Hiivala, St. Joseph; Bradley Hiivala, Seattle, WA; Bob (Kristi) Hiivala, Buffalo; Tom Hiivala, St. Cloud; Jason (Roxanne) Hiivala, Sauk Rapids; his sister Avalon Papesh , Sauk Rapids; his  24 grandchildren, 16  great-grandchildren, and his dear friend Eloise Rist.</p>
<p>He is preceded in death by his mother and father Esther and Charles Hiivala, his wife Florence Hiivala who died in 2003, and his sister Muriel Perkins.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A memorial gathering celebrating the life of Gloria Jean Eng, age 70, of Swanville will be from 4-7 PM Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford.  Gloria died Wednesday at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home serving Swanville.</p>
<p>Gloria was born June 25, 1941 in Fargo, N.D. to Harold and Lucille (Jendro) Eng.  She grew up in North Dakota where she lived until marrying George Gustin on November 8, 1958 when they moved to the St. Cloud area.  They later divorced.  She attained a degree from St. Benedict’s College in Social Work.  Gloria not only was a loving mother and home-maker raising her 6 children, she also worked as a full time foster mother for over ten years and as a social worker.  Her greatest interests included sewing, quilting, and spending time with her grandchildren.</p>
<p>She is survived by her children Kathy (Jim) DeZeller, Avon; Dennis (Lori) Gustin, St. Cloud; Micheal (Kim) Gustin, Avon; Jodi (David) Wohletz, Holdingford; Rebecca Gustin, St. Cloud; Kimberly (Noy Sayadeth) Gustin, Brooklyn Park; her siblings Audrey Christoff, Tacoma, WA; Patricia Roble, Fargo, ND; Candace (Richard) Karrow, Henderson NV; her 28 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.</p>
<p>She is preceded in death by her mother and her father Lucille Hodges and Harold Eng.</p>
