The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Ervin Yunik, age 94 of Albany, will be 11:00 AM Monday, January 31 at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Albany.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  There will be a visitation after 10:00 AM Monday at the church in Albany.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany.

Ervin was born December 4, 1916 in Albany to Stan and Antonia (Hoffman) Yunik.  He lived all of his life in the Albany area.  He married Margaret Christen on January 28, 1950 in Albany.  Ervin owned and operated Nu-Way Cleaners in Albany for many years before he retired in 1984.  He was a member of the Seven Dolors Catholic Church and the Albany Knights of Columbus.

Ervin is survived by his wife, Margaret Yunik, Albany; his daughters, Roslyn Yunik, New London; Anne (Kevin) Klem, Elk River; Jane (Dave) Plantenberg, St. Joseph; and Sarah (Bob) Laskowski, Foreston.   He is also survived by his sisters, Esther (Warren) Schwindal, Cold Spring, Martha (Bob) Houck, Roseville, seven grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Ervin is preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Clara Theis and Stella Fleischman and his brother, Raymond Yunik.
